Facilitating sustainable growth and development in the local Umm Al-Jimāl is an essential component of the Project. As the ancient site is surrounded by a modern town, the needs of the community are inextricably linked with any work to preserve and promote the site, and to further research in the Hauran region. Local support and investment in heritage and related services create a strong foundation for future ventures in the business, heritage, and research spheres.
